研究室では、年間いくつかのコンペに応募するのを常としています。今年は新しいコンペに学生たちと参加しました。銀行の古い建物の有効利用の提案ということで、応募しましたが、あえなく敗戦。なかなか厳しいものがあります。しっかり復習して、次につなげていきます。

① 有平糖‥✖️砂糖を煮て作られた飴の一種であり、南蛮菓子の一つである。It is a type of candy made by boiling sugar and is a Nanban sweet.
② 乾煎り‥✖️鍋やフライパンに油をひかずに材料を炒めること。Frying ingredients in a pot or frying pan without adding oil.
③ デブリ‥○燃料デブリの略。原子炉事故で炉心が過熱し、溶融した核燃料や原子炉構造物が、混ざり合い冷えて固まったもの。Abbreviation for fuel debris. When the reactor core overheats during a nuclear accident, the nuclear fuel and reactor structures melt, mix together, cool, and solidify.
④ ダンテ‥✖️ダンテ・アリギエーリは、イタリア都市国家フィレンツェ出身の詩人、哲学者、政治家。Dante Alighieri was a poet, philosopher, and politician from the Italian city-state of Florence.
⑤ 罰金‥○罰として取り立てる金。Money taken as a punishment.
⑥ 失費‥✖️ついやされた費用。The expenses incurred.
⑦ ブレーン‥○頭脳。brain
⑧ 行脚‥○僧が修行のために諸国を歩きまわること。Monks travelling around the country to train.
⑨ 二百十日‥○雑節のひとつで、立春を起算日として210日目である。It is one of the miscellaneous festivals and marks the 210th day since the beginning of spring.
