小豆島が持続可能な観光地として、シルバーアワードの国際認証を取得したというニュースを見ました。瀬戸大橋建設の案の段階では、小豆島を通るルートも検討されていたとか。今となっては、橋脚の島にならなくて良かった。島国の中の島、いろいろ揶揄されることともありますが、持続して欲しいですね。
