専攻科生の特別研究，本科生の卒業研究も最後の追い込み時期になっています。私の研究室では，原則１２月までが実験，１月からは論文作成，発表準備に集中させています。メリハリのある研究活動は，社会に出ても求められる素養です。一方，探求心から追加実験を行うこともあります。それは，企業との共同研究で時々，実施することがあります。いわゆるバックデータをきっちり取っておくことが，後々の考察や製品開発に活きてきます。

① ローカライザー‥✖️着陸進入する航空機に対して、空港・飛行場付近の地上施設から指向性誘導電波を発射し、視界不良時にも安全に滑走路上まで誘導する計器進入システム。An instrument approach system that emits directional guidance radio waves from ground facilities near the airport or airfield to aircraft approaching for landing, guiding them safely to the runway even in poor visibility.
② 改葬許可申請‥○改葬・お墓の引越しの手続きの際に必要な許可証です。This permit is required when reburial or moving a grave.
③ 蔀‥✖️建具の一。One of the building fixtures.
④ 避難所‥○災害によって自宅で生活できなくなった地域住民が一時的に滞在する施設です。These are temporary accommodation facilities for local residents who are no longer able to live in their own homes due to a disaster.
⑤ 防災庁‥○災害対応のエキスパートをそろえ、政府の災害対応をリードする司令塔としての役割を果たすことになる。The center will be made up of disaster response experts and will act as a command center leading the government's disaster response efforts.
⑥ 普天間飛行場の辺野古移設‥○沖縄県宜野湾市に設置されているアメリカ海兵隊普天間飛行場の移設をめぐる問題であるThis is an issue surrounding the relocation of the U.S. Marine Corps' Futenma Air Station, located in Ginowan City, Okinawa Prefecture.
