卒業研究のまとめの時期、エクセルやワードといったソフトウェアの機能を最大限に使わないといけない時期です。大抵は学生の方がスキルが高くて、手伝うというようなことは稀です。しかしながら、高専生と言えども少し苦手な学生も散見されます。先日は久しぶりに、がっつり体裁の修正にかかりました。確かにちょっとした技術、見た目の整え方は、民間会社に勤めていた頃に鍛えられたものですね。

① 故轍‥✖️前に通った車のわだちや、古人が行なった方法や様式、昔ながらのやり方などを意味する言葉です。It means the tracks of cars that have passed before, the methods and styles used by ancient people, and old-fashioned ways of doing things.
② 風待草‥○梅の花の異名です。Another name for plum blossom.
③ 四大節‥✖️しだいせつ、四方拝（元日）、紀元節（2月11日）、天長節（天皇誕生日）、明治節（11月3日）の4つの節会の日を指します。It refers to the four seasonal festival days: Shihohai (New Year's Day), Kigensetsu (February 11th), Tenchosetsu (the Emperor's birthday), and Meijisetsu (November 3rd).
④ 不世出‥○めったに世に現れないほど、すぐれていること。extraordinary
⑤ 強制的失踪作業部会‥✖️国連人権理事会の下で、国家の関与による強制失踪の被害者について調査を行う作業部会です。This is a working group under the United Nations Human Rights Council that investigates victims of enforced disappearances involving states.
⑥ 貸金庫‥○銀行などの金庫室に設けられた保護箱を有料で顧客に貸し出すサービスです。This is a service that lends out protective boxes installed in vaults at banks and other institutions to customers for a fee.
